Description

Who it’s for: Anyone who has to answer for a marketing number and wants to answer one question properly: How many viewers watch your video to the end?

What happens in it: Watch the idea unfold: a video with thousands of views, the viewers who leave early, and the number that counts those who stay. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: I’m reviewing our product demo video. Its video completion rate is just 20%, well below our usual 35% for similar videos. Trevor, our campaign coordinator, says: “The video is 45 seconds. Maybe we just need to make it shorter.”. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Malcolm, the head of marketing, in three questions.

How it works: five scenes in about 30 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 3 of 4 in the Social and video season of the Marketing series.
