Description
Who it’s for: Anyone delivering to milestones and stakeholders who needs to know what is actually holding the project up.
What happens in it: a short film shows a foreman who resigns, a team that grew, and the rate that shows how much churn it is carrying. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: installing rooftop solar systems on schools for Tolland County Schools. My installation team had 18 people at the start of the quarter and 22 at the end, as more installation crews were added. During the quarter, 4 people resigned and 1 structural engineer rolled off as planned once the roof assessments were finished. The district asks whether staffing is a risk to the programme. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Rosalie, the project manager, in three questions.
How it works: five scenes in about 35 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 5 of 5 in the Delivery and stakeholders season of the Project Management series.
