Description
Who it’s for: Anyone who has to answer for a marketing number and wants to answer one question properly: What does it cost to be seen 1,000 times, and were you really seen?
What happens in it: Watch the idea unfold: two media quotes of different sizes, and the number that puts them side by side. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: I’m planning a national awareness campaign and Cecil Amberly, our media buyer, brings two quotes: a display network offering R120,000 for 6,000,000 impressions, and a premium lifestyle publisher network offering R180,000 for 4,500,000 impressions. Cecil says: “The display network is obviously the better deal. It’s cheaper per impression.”. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Fergus, the head of marketing, in three questions.
How it works: five scenes in about 30 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 1 of 6 in the Paid media performance season of the Marketing series.
