In 30 minutes you will work out average frequency from impressions and reach as a count. You will also read frequency against the campaign objective and the usual ranges. And you will separate how often people saw an ad from whether it worked.

Description

Who it’s for: Anyone who has to answer for a marketing number and wants to answer one question properly: How many times did each person see your ad, and was it enough?

What happens in it: Watch the idea unfold: millions of showings, the people behind them, and how often each one saw the ad. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: our six-week TV and radio campaign for Northwind has ended. The report shows 12,600,000 impressions and a net reach of 1,800,000 people, out of a target audience of 6,000,000 adults. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Laura, the marketing director, in three questions.

How it works: five scenes in about 30 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 2 of 5 in the Media planning season of the Marketing series.
