Description
Who it’s for: Anyone in a store or a retail head office who has to answer one question: Is your stock the right size for what you actually sell?
What happens in it: Watch the idea unfold: two stores that look equally full, the sales each one makes, and the number that shows how hard the stock works. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: I’m deciding how much stock to order ahead of next season. Our sales last year were R6,400,000, with average stock of R800,000 at retail price. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Norman, the retail director, in three questions.
How it works: five scenes in about 30 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 3 of 6 in the Stock and buying season of the Retail series.
