Description

Who it’s for: Anyone running delivery in sprints or flow who needs to know how fast the work is really moving.

What happens in it: a short film shows a team asked to take on twice as much, a law that links three numbers, and why a fuller board is slower. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: I run the Kanban board for mine-site system requests at Sawtooth Mining. The board has a throughput of 14 items per week, and its average cycle time is 6 days. The general manager asks how many requests the team typically has on the go at once, because he wants to decide whether to add more people. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Emory, the IT support lead, in three questions.

How it works: five scenes in about 35 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 5 of 5 in the Agile delivery flow season of the Project Management series.
