What happens in it: a short film shows a busy team, a client asking for more, and the number that shows how full the month already is. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: upgrading two wards at Westerly Medical Center. My team of 6 has 160 available hours each this month, after leave and the public holiday; each contract is for 176 hours. I have booked 912 hours of project work, and the hospital wants to know whether we can take on an extra repair in one of the operating rooms. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Cordelia, the project manager, in three questions.
How it works: five scenes in about 35 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 1 of 5 in the Resources and capacity season of the Project Management series.
