In 35 minutes you will work out a coefficient of variation in three steps, to 2 decimals. You will also compare how steady products, branches or depots are across different sizes. And you will avoid inverting the fraction and using the variance instead of the standard deviation.

Description

Who it’s for: Anyone in business who works with prices, costs, budgets or reports and wants to be sure the numbers are right.

What happens in it: a short film shows two counters, two standard deviations, and the one figure that compares them fairly. In Your call you make the decisions in a real case: a big hub, a small branch and one extra van. Then, in the boardroom, you make the case to Gugu, the regional manager, in three questions.

How it works: five scenes in about 35 minutes: the data film, the lesson, Your call, practice with fresh numbers that mark themselves, and the boardroom. Finish all five for your certificate. It is course 5 of 5 in the Making sense of data season of the Numbers for Business series.
